OG Announces Misha as Head Dota 2 Coach for The International 10

OG Names Dota 2 Veteran Misha as Head Coach for The International 10

OG has officially appointed CIS Dota 2 veteran Mikhail “Misha” Agatov as the team’s head coach for The International 10 today.

Misha has been coaching the team for six months now. He joined after the end of the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit’s second season in June, while Titouan “Sockshka” Merloz moved to an assistant coaching role.

Qualifying for TI10 and Misha’s Journey

Following his release by Team Spirit last December, Misha had only been playing as a stand-in with various teams. He spent most of 2020 as a stand-in for Ninjas in Pyjamas and recently competed with VP.Prodigy at events in March. After joining OG as a coach, the team qualified for TI10 through the Western Europe Qualifier. They secured a close 3-2 victory over Tundra Esports, salvaging the DPC season.

OG Welcomes Misha to the Family

“We want to welcome Misha into the OG family!” said Ceb. “We started working with him after a challenging season, and the change was immediately felt. He has put his heart and soul into this project since day one. Misha played a key role in our qualification for TI10. He is young, confident, and we believe he will help us become the best version of ourselves for TI10.”

OG’s Journey towards TI10

Immediately after the official announcement, Misha filled in for Ceb during the showmatch against beastcoast to celebrate the launch of OpenAI’s Artificial Gamer documentary, hosted by Beyond the Summit. Currently, OG is preparing to defend their third title at TI10, which begins on Oct. 7. They previously won back-to-back Internationals in 2018 and 2019.
