Nisha triumphs over former team in Liquid debut as Dota Pro Circuit commences

The Dota 2 roster shuffle season has left fans in awe

The competitive world of Dota 2 has recently experienced one of the most chaotic roster shuffle seasons in recent years. While some player transfers were expected, fans were taken aback when Nisha joined Liquid.

Today, Secret and Liquid faced each other in the 2023 WEU DPC opener, and Nisha’s debut with Liquid didn’t go well for Secret fans. The Polish mid-player and his new teammates, including former Secret member Zai, quickly dismantled their former team.

Liquid’s strategy was to dominate the lanes, and that’s precisely what they did in the first match. Despite Secret having strong picks like Razor, Treant Protector, and Lycan, Liquid completely outplayed them.

Nisha showcased his skills by outclassing BOOM’s Ember Spirit in the mid lane with Batrider. With miCKe’s flawless performance on Morphling, Liquid secured victory in just 28 minutes.

In the second match, both teams stuck to a similar draft as before. Secret had a slightly better start in the laning stage, but they couldn’t stop Nisha’s Sniper and miCKe’s Tiny from taking control. With Zai’s dominating Nature’s Prophet by their side, Liquid once again clinched the win without any obstacles.

Apart from their performance on the map, Secret managed to win their fans’ hearts through social media with various memes. The team’s social media squad put in extra effort for their first match against their former mid-player, and it showed in every skit.

During the match, there were moments where Nisha sent Secret’s captain Puppey back to the fountain, which may have been painful for Secret fans to witness. As both teams continue to find their identity throughout the season, it seems like the WEU region has a new rivalry in the making.
