Nigma Welcomes MinD_ContRoL Back After Absence from ONE Esports Singapore Major Due to COVID-19 Concerns

Nigma’s MinD_ContRoL Returns After COVID-19 Recovery

Nigma faced challenges at the ONE Esports Singapore Major when MinD_ContRoL tested positive for COVID-19. However, after returning from Singapore, the team announced that MinD_ContRoL is back and ready to compete with the rest of the roster.

In a video shared on the team’s Twitter, MinD_ContRoL showcases his return by riding down sand dunes on a four-wheeler, declaring “the Sand King is back.” This suggests that he has fully recovered and will rejoin the team for the upcoming second season of the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit.

During the Major, Nigma struggled without MinD_ContRoL, performing poorly and being the first team to be eliminated in the Wild Card stage. However, they still have a chance to make it to The International, as they currently hold 200 DPC points from their third-place finish in the EU regional league for season one.

To secure their spot at TI, Nigma will need to perform well in season two. Having MinD_ContRoL back on the roster is a positive step towards achieving their goal.
