Nigma experiences second Dota 2 departure within 48 hours, further impacting their team dynamics

Nigma Galaxy Sees Another Roster Change with Departure of Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf

In yet another sudden roster change, Nigma Galaxy bids farewell to Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf, just days after the departure of mid-laner Sumail Hassan.

ATF had been moved to the inactive roster in April 2023 and was scrimming with Quest Esports’ Ooredoo Thunders, who were in need of an offlaner after removing Faruk “Wuiter” Terci from their lineup.

However, this move is temporary, as Nigma announced that ATF will be on loan to Ooredoo for the summer Dota Pro Circuit season. Ooredoo recently competed in the first division of the Western European DPC, finishing fifth and narrowly missing out on the opportunity to compete at the Berlin Major.

With SumaiL leaving Nigma, fans had hoped that ATF would find a place on the team. However, since that didn’t happen, Nigma now needs to find two new players before the summer season begins.

Given Nigma’s fluctuating division status between division one and division two, it may be increasingly challenging for them to secure top-tier talent, as they are currently far from qualifying for a Major or participating in The International.

There are rumors suggesting that Yuma Langlet, the carry player of D2 Hustlers, may join Nigma. Yuma has been playing with the Hustlers in two different regions, and the team recently advanced to the first division of WEU DPC, changing their name to D1 Hustlers.
