Nigma aims to improvise Dota 2 season with Miracle-‘s comeback before the $1 million tournament

DreamLeague Season 19 Gets a Twist as PSG.LGD Withdraws, Nigma Galaxy Steps In

PSG.LGD has withdrawn from DreamLeague Season 19, creating an open spot in the competition. However, Nigma Galaxy, a recently demoted team from the Western European Dota Pro Circuit, has taken their place.

Roster Changes and a Surprise Addition

Nigma had to make roster changes earlier than expected due to the sudden inclusion in DreamLeague. Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf was moved to the inactive roster, and Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi will temporarily stand in for the team.

Miracle- has been on a break during the 2023 DPC season due to health issues. His return as a stand-in for Nigma at DreamLeague suggests an improvement in his condition.

Nigma, being relegated to the second division, may be considering bringing Miracle- back for the next season, as it is a less demanding league compared to division one.

Nigma is one of the few teams in Dota 2 that has managed to keep most of its founding members. The return of fan-favorite player Miracle- can boost team morale and excite the fans. However, it will be challenging for Nigma to qualify for the International 2023 unless they perform exceptionally well in the regional qualifiers.

As top teams worldwide gear up to earn the most DPC points, Nigma should also start thinking about their long-term roster for the 2024 season. Having some practice time with Miracle- could greatly benefit them in that regard.
