Dota 2’s Latest Battle Pass Introduces Aghanim Labyrinth’s The Continuum Conundrum
The highly anticipated battle pass for Dota 2 has finally arrived, bringing with it the continuation of the 2022 Summer Event: Aghanim Labyrinth’s The Continuum Conundrum.
In this event, players will navigate Aghanim the mighty’s transformation into Aghanim the many due to a malfunctioning Continuum Device, resulting in a multiverse-wide problem. This means that the beloved Cavern Crawl and its accompanying weekly quests have made a comeback.
Exciting Features and Content in the New Battle Pass
Alongside the Aghanim Labyrinth’s The Continuum Conundrum event, Valve has packed the battle pass with a variety of enticing content and features. The spotlight is on Mirana, who finally receives her Dragon’s Blood Persona inspired by the popular Netflix animated series. Additionally, players can unlock the highly coveted fate-altering Drow Ranger Arcana.
Drow Ranger’s “Dread Retribution” Arcana completely revamps the hero, featuring a brand-new model, custom animations and effects, over 800 new voice lines, new hero assets, and an unlockable alternate style: Master of Madness. Mirana doesn’t just receive her Dragon’s Blood Persona, but there’s also an unlockable Dark Moon armor set to enhance her appearance.
For fans of Hoodwink, there’s a special Prestige Bundle that transforms the forest-dwelling hero into a representation of nature’s wrath.
In addition to these top-tier additions, the battle pass includes Immortal item sets for ten other heroes, including two for Zeus. Players can also expect new Global items like the imposing Grasp of the Elder Gods towers throughout the duration of the battle pass.
Exciting New Features Beyond Cosmetic Items
Valve has also taken this opportunity to introduce experimental controller support for Dota 2. Players can now use Steam Input-compatible devices and provide feedback to help developers refine this feature.
Furthermore, the battle pass offers additional features such as Neutral Item upgrade recommendations, a Rune Spawn indicator, and an average Gold Bounty counter.
