Na’Vi signs LeBron as hard support player to complete Dota 2 lineup

Natus Vincere Announces Final Lineup for Dota 2 Pro Circuit Roster Lock

Natus Vincere (Na’Vi), one of the most beloved esports organizations, has made a crucial roster change just in time for the Dota 2 Pro Circuit roster lock. Serbian hard support player Nikola “LeBron” Popovic has joined Na’Vi, replacing Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev who recently left the team. The official announcement was made on Na’Vi’s website.

LeBron’s Journey to Na’Vi

LeBron, previously a member of CIS team Elements Pro Gaming, most recently played for the team Spider Pigzs, where he won his first tournament in 2016. However, after only six days, he made the move to Na’Vi to fill the hard support role.

Despite not having competed in premier tournaments and the big leagues, LeBron has been working hard in the CIS region, participating in various open and regional qualifiers. His most notable achievement so far is winning first place at the ProDotA Cup Europe in 2016, earning $3,500 alongside the Spider Pigzs.

Unlocking LeBron’s Potential

Joining a Pro Circuit team like Na’Vi could be the breakthrough LeBron needs to showcase his skills at live events. As a long-time fan of Na’Vi himself, LeBron is determined to help the team reclaim its place at the top of the Dota 2 scene. In a press release, he stated, “I know what fans expect, and that’s [Na’Vi] being back on top—and I can assure you that we will try our best to make it happen.”

Upcoming Challenges for LeBron and Na’Vi

LeBron will have his debut game with Na’Vi in the upcoming regional qualifiers for the Dota 2 Asia Championships, where he’ll have the opportunity to prove himself on the competitive stage.
