N0tail Shares Hopes and Expectations for Upcoming Dota 2 Patch
Renowned Dota 2 player, N0tail, eagerly anticipates the upcoming massive overhaul patch expected to arrive next month. During a casting session with ODPixel, the OG legend expressed his thoughts and desires for the patch.
N0tail expressed the need for “map changes” and “farming pattern changes” to truly “shake things up” in the game. He believes that the map should be expanded due to the outpost mechanics.
Additionally, N0tail hopes that Valve will introduce new elements that will require players to “relearn” their strategies. Even small additions like a new shop or courier can make a significant impact.
He specifically suggested reintroducing a side lane shop with limited regen items like tangos and salves, as well as having separate couriers for each player. According to him, this change would address the issue of cores and supports having an endless supply of regen, which greatly influences the game dynamics.
Although the expected patch release on March 6 turned out to be a minor one, Valve has confirmed that the major Dota 2 overhaul will arrive in April. Fans, including N0tail, eagerly await to see if his suggestions will be implemented in the upcoming patch.
