Mushi Joins Dota 2 Team of Keen Gaming

Dota 2 legend Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung joins Keen Gaming

Dota 2 veteran Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung is set to join Keen Gaming for the upcoming season after coaching Mineski at The International 2019, according to an announcement by the organization.

Adding experience to the roster

Keen Gaming has been steadily building a culture of success within the organization, and bringing Mushi on board is a quick way to add experience to the team.

Mushi’s role in the team

Malaysia’s renowned player, Mushi, will join Keen Gaming’s Dota 2 team as a free agent in the position five role. With his years of experience, Mushi’s addition is expected to bring significant changes to the team in the new season.

Keen Gaming announced on Weibo that they secured Mushi’s services after Geek Fam disbanded and his time coaching Mineski ended. The organization expects Mushi’s veteran leadership to play a significant role in the team’s success.

This move not only brings a well-known and respected player to Keen Gaming but also provides the organization with a big name to promote. However, it raises questions about the future of the team’s current players.

Although Mushi has played as a solo mid and is not known for being a captain, Keen specifically stated that he would join as a position five player. This could potentially impact the role of the team’s current captain, Song “dark” Runxi, who also plays the five position.

Hu “Kaka” Liangzhi is expected to continue as the team’s four position player, but there is a gap at the three spot. Keen Gaming will also have to decide whether to enter into full transfers for Wang “old chicken” Zhiyong and Ren “eLeVeN” Yangwei, who are both on trial from EHOME.

Mushi had a mixed season, playing for three different teams, with limited success outside of coaching Mineski at TI9. However, joining a team that made it to The International in a highly competitive Chinese region should help him regain his top form.
