Team Spirit Aims to Rival OG’s Legendary Status at The International 12
The winners of Dota 2’s The International 10, Team Spirit, have been on a winning streak with victories at the Riyadh Masters 2023 and DreamLeague Season 21. In a recent podcast interview with prominent Ukrainian caster Aleksey “Storm” Tumanov, Team Spirit’s position four player Myroslav “Mira” Kolpakov expressed the team’s goal to match OG’s legendary runs and surpass them in terms of accomplishments.

Mira believes that Team Spirit’s focus is not solely on the prize pool this year, as they have already won a significant amount. Their main drive is to achieve greatness and be recognized as the best team in the world once again.
Gaimin Gladiators: The Biggest Roadblock
Mira acknowledges that reaching their goal won’t be easy, with strong teams like Gaimin Gladiators standing in their way. Gaimin Gladiators, who dominated most DPC events in 2023, are seen as the biggest challenge for Team Spirit at The International 12.
The Pressure on Gaimin Gladiators
Despite Gaimin Gladiators’ impressive winning streak, Mira questions their decision to participate in additional events like the BetBoom DACHA 2023 so close to TI. He suggests that they should take a step back, enjoy their success, and enter TI12 mentally refreshed and fully prepared.
Mira notes that the pressure may be causing issues within Gaimin Gladiators, especially for their star midlaner Quinn Callahan. He believes that Callahan’s ego has made him susceptible to cracking under pressure, which has made him easier to defeat in pub games. Nevertheless, Mira still considers Gaimin Gladiators as their toughest opponents at TI12.
