Meme-worthy Victory: Fart Studios Qualify for the 2023 Dota Pro Circuit

FS and Legacy Secure Division Two Spots in Dota 2 Closed Qualifiers

Talented Dota 2 players from around the world recently competed in the North American Closed Qualifiers. Despite the participation of players from Europe, South America, and Southeast Asia, the best players from North America still came out on top.

Fart Studios (FS) and Legacy, both heavily comprised of North American players, have secured spots in the 2023 Dota Pro Circuit division two.

FS Overcomes Challenges in Lower Bracket

While Legacy had a smooth run in the upper bracket, FS faced difficulties early on and found themselves in the lower bracket. After battling through two rounds, FS found themselves facing CDUB Esports, the team that had previously knocked them out of the upper bracket.

CDUB, led by talents like Mohammad “AfrOmoush” Eis and islA, had proven to be a formidable opponent. However, FS managed to turn the tables. They came into the series with a well-thought-out plan and drafted a lineup centered around Naga Siren and Lina.

FS Emerges Victorious Despite CDUB’s Comeback

In the first match, BSJ on Naga Siren and iAnnihilate on Lina helped FS gradually dominate their opponents. Despite a strong comeback from CDUB in the second game, FS continued to execute their strategy successfully.

CDUB attempted to counter FS by banning Ember Spirit and Dragon Knight in the third match. Undeterred, FS stuck to their Naga Siren and Lina strategy and once again emerged victorious.

Looking ahead in the NA DPC Division Two

With their success in the Closed Qualifiers, BSJ and his team have advanced to the second division of the NA DPC. They will now compete against other hopeful teams in the region to make their way to the first division, while also aiming to avoid relegation.
