Quincy Crew Adds Brazillian Player Lelis as Offlaner
North American Dota 2 team Quincy Crew has recruited Brazilian player Lelis to join their ranks as their new offlaner. Lelis previously stood in for the team during their successful championship run at the ESL One Birmingham Online tournament.
A Star Player from South America
Lelis is well-known in South America as one of the region’s top position three players. He has played for some of the best organizations in the area. In January, he gained even more recognition when he was recruited by ppd for the Ninjas in Pyjamas roster. His addition helped the team qualify for the ESL One Los Angeles Major before LAN events were put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Impressive Performance in ESL One Birmingham Online
During his time as a stand-in for Quincy Crew, Lelis showcased his skills and contributed to the team’s dominant performance in the playoffs of the ESL One Birmingham Online tournament. He played unconventional offlane heroes such as Death Prophet, Lycan, and Tusk, putting tremendous pressure on the map.
Filling an Empty Spot on the Roster
Quincy Crew has struggled to find a permanent offlaner since the start of the season. Initially, SumaiL held the carry position, while his brother YawaR filled the role of position three. However, SumaiL left the roster after just two weeks, leading to a rotating roster of offlaners for the team.
