KuroKy sidelined from OGA Dota PIT Season 2 due to arm injury

Nigma to Play with Stand-in at OGA Dota PIT Season Two: Europe and CIS

Nigma’s captain KuroKy will be unable to play at OGA Dota PIT Season Two: Europe and CIS due to an arm injury. As a result, the team will be competing with a stand-in player.

No specific details about the captain’s injury have been provided, but it seems that he may miss more than just this single tournament.

Coach rmN- Steps in to Support

In KuroKy’s absence, Nigma’s coach Roman “rmN-” Paley will be taking on the role of support player. This will be his first time playing competitively since 2018, when he joined Team Liquid as their coach before leaving alongside the Nigma roster.

Setbacks for Nigma and Other Teams

This unfortunate timing comes at a time when Nigma was showing improvement, having placed second at BEYOND EPIC in June.

Additionally, three out of the four competing teams in the EU/CIS region will have new or stand-in players due to roster changes or injury. Ninjas in Pyjamas released their captain SoNNeikO and will be playing with Evil Geniuses’ “Cr1t-” for the event, while OG replaced SumaiL with Ceb on their active roster.

Alliance Emerges as Early Favorites

With Team Secret not participating in Dota PIT Season Two, the EU region appears to be wide open. However, with all the recent changes, Alliance is looking like the early favorite to win the majority of the $170,000 prize pool.

OGA Dota PIT Season Two: EU/CIS will take place from July 27 to 30, with several other major tournaments following shortly after.
