jfshfh178 Replaces Virtus Pro in Dota Summit 11 Minor

Virtus Pro Withdraws from Dota Summit 11 Minor, jfshfh178 to Take Their Place

Earlier this month, Virtus Pro withdrew from the Dota Summit 11 Minor to give their players more practice time together. This decision opened up a spot for a CIS team in the first event of the 2019-20 Dota Pro Circuit. Luckily, jfshfh178 has stepped in to fill that spot.

Jfshfh178’s position four player, Danil “Bignum” Shehovtsov, revealed that the team has been approved for US visas and will be attending the Summit. While the team’s participation is yet to be confirmed by Beyond the Summit, the tournament host has been working with jfshfh178 to secure their visas as replacements for Virtus Pro.

This situation places a stack of CIS veterans up against one of the most well-known Dota 2 brands in the world. While the loss of Virtus Pro may impact the overall viewership of the Minor, it’s exciting to see players like Nikita “Palantimos” Grinkevich and Bignum back on a big stage.

Despite being considered underdogs, jfshfh178 will have the opportunity to make an impact and potentially secure a spot in the MDL Chengdu Major, as well as earn DPC points when the Minor begins on November 7.
