J Storm Makes Roster Changes for the Upcoming Season
The North American Dota 2 scene is undergoing some changes as J Storm announces important updates to its roster.
J Storm has replaced 1437 with MoOz, according to the organization’s recent announcement.
“We wish 1437 the best as he gets married this fall and thank him for his time on the team,” J Storm said in a statement. “Welcome to MoOz who we pick up as a four, while Fear moves to the five position, the typical captain slot.”
The team had initially acquired 1437 from the struggling Tigers organization, but personal reasons led to their parting ways. J Storm quickly brought in MoOz from beastcoast’s roster to fill the gap. MoOz, who previously played for Infamous, brings a wealth of experience in the current Dota Pro Circuit events.
It was initially unclear how MoOz’s addition would affect the team’s captain, Fear. However, J Storm clarified that Fear would be transitioning to position five, which is typically the optimal position for support captains.
With these roster changes, J Storm looks to solidify their position as one of the North American favorites for the upcoming season. The team will be competing in the first 2019-2020 DPC event qualifiers starting on October 5.
