Invictus Gaming Releases Kaka, Adds Fade from EHOME

iG Replaces Kaka with Fade in Dota 2 Roster

iG has made a significant change to its Dota 2 lineup by replacing former captain Kaka with Fade. This move comes as a surprise considering the team’s success last year.

IG was one of the standout teams in the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit, dominating the first season of China’s regional league and winning the ONE Esports Singapore Major. They finished fourth at The International 10, their best performance since TI8.

However, just hours before the roster lock for the 2022 DPC’s Winter Tour, iG announced that Kaka’s contract had expired and he would be exploring free agency. The team expressed gratitude for Kaka’s leadership and contribution to their growth.

To replace Kaka, iG has acquired Fade, a veteran support player with plenty of experience. Fade previously played for EHOME but joined iG’s roster after his former team disbanded.

With this roster change, iG is ready for the upcoming 2022 DPC season with flyfly, Emo, JT, and Oli. Meanwhile, Kaka remains a high-profile free agent.
