Invictus Gaming Advances to ONE Esports Singapore Major Finals

In a matchup between two top Chinese Dota 2 teams, Invictus Gaming showcased their dominance by eliminating PSG.LGD and securing a spot in the grand finals of the ONE Esports Singapore Major.

After a hard-fought 2-1 victory, Invictus Gaming has guaranteed themselves a top-two finish in the tournament and a chance to seek redemption against Evil Geniuses in the finals.

The first game saw Invictus Gaming take control with FlyFly’s exceptional performance on Morphling. Their strategic approach limited PSG.LGD’s options and allowed Invictus Gaming to gain an early advantage. However, PSG.LGD bounced back in game two, running an aggressive lineup to even the series 1-1.

In the deciding game, PSG.LGD held an advantage for over 46 minutes. However, Invictus Gaming’s lineup, centered around Puck and Phantom Lancer, proved to be stronger in the late game. With a few key plays, Invictus Gaming managed to surpass PSG.LGD and secure the victory after an intense team fight that lasted for over an hour.

While PSG.LGD focused on defending their high ground, Invictus Gaming’s creepwaves managed to break through their defenses and destroy the enemy ancient when they were least expecting it.

Despite the loss, PSG.LGD exits the Major in third place, earning $75,000 and 400 Dota Pro Circuit points. Remarkably, they only dropped three series throughout the entire event.

Invictus Gaming will have an opportunity to avenge their earlier loss to Evil Geniuses in the upper bracket as they face off in the grand finals. The winner of this series will be crowned the Singapore Major champion, earning $200,000 and 500 DPC points.
