ILTW replaces OG in Dota PIT season 4

OG Announces MidOne’s Holiday Break and Substitution

The holiday season may be approaching, but that doesn’t mean the Dota 2 tournaments are slowing down. With LAN events on hold, online tournaments have become the main stage for Dota 2 competition.

OG, the renowned esports organization, has recently announced that MidOne, one of their star players who has been away from home in Europe since 2016, will be taking a well-deserved holiday break. During MidOne’s absence, OG will be filling his place with their trusted former stand-in, Igor “iLTW” Filatov.

The Arrival of iLTW, OG’s Old Friend

OG’s announcement on Twitter revealed that iLTW will be standing in for MidOne for the entirety of the @OGADotaPIT tournament. iLTW, who had previously played for Virtus Pro, has been relatively absent from competitive play since September. However, he has been actively playing pub games and is ready to make his mark at the tournament.

OG and Virtus Pro’s Recent Encounter

Just yesterday, OG and Virtus Pro faced off in the grand finals of the Epic League Division 1. Ultimately, Virtus Pro emerged as the victors in the best-of-five series.

If you want to catch the action, you can tune in to Dota PIT’s Twitch channel or the Watch tab in the main screen of Dota 2.

MidOne’s Return and Future Matches

No official statement has been made regarding MidOne’s return from his holiday break, but it is expected to be after Christmas. In the meantime, OG will continue competing in the OGA Dota PIT season four with iLTW. Their next match is scheduled against Virtus Pro today at 12pm CT.
