IG Vitality and Empire shatter Battle Pass predictions with record-breaking 128-minute game at TI7

Mega Creep Comeback in Dota 2 During The International 7 Group Stage

The International 7 group stage witnessed a marathon-like game between iG Vitality and Empire, lasting a grueling 128 minutes. This game featured Anti-Mage, Divine Rapiers, 10 Roshan kills, intense teamfights, and an overwhelming feeling that the game would never end.

The game began with iG Vitality taking an early net worth lead, but Empire’s Anti-Mage quickly caught up in farm.

Empire repeatedly attempted to siege iG Vitality’s base but were consistently repelled. It took them until the 56th minute to break the Dire top lane barracks.

After a long struggle, Empire finally secured mega creeps at the 70-minute mark. However, iG Vitality’s superior AoE crowd control lineup allowed them to defend their Ancient for an incredibly long time.

Seizing an opportunity, iG Vitality left their base and quickly took down as many barracks as possible before Empire’s respawn timers caught up. They were only able to take down two lanes, leaving Empire with the mega creep advantage.

The tug-of-war continued for another 40 minutes, with Empire desperately trying to finish off iG Vitality. However, iG Vitality’s defense proved too strong, and Empire’s heroes were eventually killed without buybacks available.

This allowed iG Vitality to storm Empire’s base and go straight for the Ancient, completing one of the most inspiring mega creep comebacks in Dota history.

This game demonstrates why conceding is not an option in professional matchmaking, with teams capable of making incredible comebacks.
