Gorgc achieves a significant milestone in Dota 2

Gorgc Reaches 10k MMR in Dota 2 Ranked Mode

Despite not making it to the International 2022, Gorgc has achieved significant milestones in his Dota 2 career in the past two months. He recently upset Alliance in the regional qualifiers and joined the coveted five-digit MMR club by reaching 10k matchmaking points in Dota 2’s ranked mode.

Gorgc displayed an impressive winning streak in his last 10 matches, with a few setbacks along the way. His grind culminated in a 40-minute match where he played Chaos Knight, securing 18 kills and nine assists.

Before this match, Gorgc’s MMR stood around 9.995, delaying his accomplishment by one game. Usually, the final match before achieving a milestone is the most stressful, but Gorgc managed to approach it like any other match with the support of his chat.

During his climb, Gorgc managed to break into the top 100 players in the European Dota 2 region. Reaching the five-digit MMR territory is an impressive achievement, but it’s just the beginning. Dota 2’s most elite players have already climbed up to 12k MMR.

Besides being a prestigious trophy, climbing up the leaderboard also signifies a player’s skill level and grants them the opportunity to play against the highest-ranked competitors in the game. Dota 2 enthusiasts can spectate these top-ranked matches on Dota TV, where they are automatically listed.
