Full Release of Dota Underlords Slated for Feb. 25

Dota Underlords Season One Set for Full Release on Feb. 25

When multiplayer games are in the testing and balancing phase, developers typically release them in Early Access and continue to improve the game until it’s ready for a full release.

Dota Underlords took slightly over six months of development before Valve decided it was ready. The game will have its full release on Feb. 25, which will coincide with the launch of Dota Underlords Season One.

New Content and Rewards Await in Season One

Valve has been tight-lipped about Season One’s details, urging fans to read PC Gamer’s upcoming February cover story to find out more about the game’s re-release. However, they did promise new content, additional rewards, and new alliances.

Enno, the Scavenger King, Added to the Roster

An update for Dota Underlords includes the addition of Enno, the Scavenger King, to the game’s roster. However, this will be the final major update until the game’s release on Feb. 25, with only small fixes expected in the coming weeks.

“As mentioned a few weeks ago, this will be our last major update before we come out of Early Access and ship Season 1,” the update stated. “The team is now focused on adding features, creating content, and polishing the UI. Season 1 will bring new content with City Crawl, new rewards with a full Battlepass, and a new meta with a Hero / Item rotation.”

No Impact on Gameplay Expected During Full Release

The full release of Dota Underlords is not expected to affect players’ ability to enjoy the game. However, players should be aware of scheduled server maintenance closer to the release date for any potential delays in server updates.

Simultaneous Release on All Platforms

The full release of Dota Underlords will be available across all platforms, including Steam, Android, and iOS. This means players on all platforms will receive the new content simultaneously.
