Full Patch Notes for Dota 2 Version 7.33c

Dota 2 Patch 7.33: What You Need to Know

On April 20, Dota 2 players eagerly awaited the arrival of the 7.33 update. Just a month later, on May 13, developer Valve released the second follow-up patch, 7.33c. Let’s dive into the details.

The Berlin Major, which took place in early May, showcased the massive New Frontiers updates for the first time. Patch 7.33c is the first patch after this major event.

Many heroes who dominated the Berlin Major received nerfs in this patch. One such hero is Medusa, who saw reductions in her Mana Shield’s bonus Mana and damage reduction.

The major changes in 7.33c focus on balancing Universal heroes and their base damage. Almost all Universal heroes have had their base damage decreased, but their scaling improves as the game progresses.

The era of the “Aura meta” brought about by patch 7.33 may finally come to an end. Boots of Bearing, Pipe of Insight, and Crimson Guard all received nerfs. Vanguard, in particular, is now 15% less effective in blocking damage.

Good news for hard supports – Wisdom runes now grant a level boost to the team’s lowest-leveled hero, in addition to experience. This change will be beneficial for supports who often find themselves lagging behind in experience.

Several heroes received significant changes in 7.33c. For example, Spirit Breaker’s ultimate ability, Nether Strike, has had its cooldown reduced by a whopping 20 seconds. Earthshaker also received buffs to all four of his abilities.

These are just some of the changes introduced in Dota 2 Patch 7.33c. For a full list of updates, you can visit the official Dota 2 website.

In summary, Patch 7.33c brings a wave of changes to Dota 2. Heroes have been nerfed or buffed, while adjustments have been made to items and neutral items as well. Stay tuned for more updates!
