Former PSG.LGD players are reunited in Royal Never Give Up’s Dota 2 roster

Three PSG.LGD Players Join Royal Never Give Up for Dota Pro Circuit

PSG.LGD’s former members, Somnus, Chalice, and xNova, have officially joined the roster of Royal Never Give Up (RNG) for the upcoming Dota Pro Circuit, as announced by RNG on their Weibo page. RNG praised Somnus’ experience maturity, Chalice’s teamfight control skills, and xNova’s exceptional vision game.

Somnus and fy left PSG.LGD in 2020 to create the team Elephant, but encountered issues with the organization and eventually withdrew from Dota 2 after a disappointing performance at The International 10. Meanwhile, Chalice and xNova joined EHOME and achieved some success domestically but failed to make an impact internationally, even losing to Elephant in the TI10 last chance qualifiers.

The trio will join God King and FelixCiaoBa, who already played for RNG in the previous season. Super, who previously played with Somnus in Elephant’s TI10 run, will return to his former position as head coach.

RNG failed to qualify for TI10 this year and was relegated after finishing seventh in the second season of the Chinese regional league’s upper division. As a result, they will begin their journey in the lower division, where they will face tough competition from a team consisting of former Vici Gaming members.
