Digital Chaos Removes Jimmy “DeMoN” Ho, Adds Lee “Forev” Sang-don
In the midst of the Dota 2 offseason, one of North America’s top organizations, Digital Chaos, has made changes to its roster by removing founding player Jimmy “DeMoN” Ho.
After a disappointing performance at the $3 million Kiev Major on March 27, Digital Chaos has decided to replace DeMoN with South Korean offlaner Lee “Forev” Sang-don. While Forev will continue to play in the offlane position, Kanishka “BuLba” Sosale, Digital Chaos’ former offlaner, will take over the support role.
Forev is highly regarded as one of the best offlaners in the world, previously playing for B)ears. Unfortunately, the B)ears roster, which included well-known players like Adrian “FATA-” Trinks and Yazied “YapzOr” Jaradat, failed to qualify for the Dota 2 Asia Championship and the Kiev Major, resulting in the disbanding of the team. With experience on teams like MVP Phoenix and Team Secret, Forev brings a wealth of expertise to the Digital Chaos roster.
Additionally, Forev’s addition means he will be reunited with former MVP Phoenix support player Kim “DuBu” Doo-young, who is one of the original members of the current Digital Chaos roster.
Although Digital Chaos surprised many by qualifying for the Kiev Major through the North American qualifiers on March 13, they were unable to make a mark in Ukraine. Despite defeating Newbee and Team Liquid in the group stage of the $3 million tournament, the team was eliminated in the first round of the main event, losing two consecutive matches to VGJ.
