Fnatic’s Domination on Day 1 of Dota Summit 12

Fnatic Dominates Day One of Dota Summit 12

Fnatic emerged undefeated after day one of Dota Summit 12. Unlike other tournaments, the group stage of the event featured a single bracket where all six teams competed against each other. Fnatic stood out by winning all four of their matches.

In their first two matches, Fnatic swept Team Liquid, a highly successful team in the Dota Pro Circuit. The Southeast Asian team’s victory was decisive, with both games ending in under 30 minutes. Kam “Moon” Boon Seng was exceptional, with 17 kills and only three deaths playing as Void and Ember Spirit.

Fnatic’s second series against the reworked Cloud9 roster was equally dominant, with only one game lasting over 30 minutes. Marcus “Ace” Hoelgaard was the only player on Cloud9 to find any success, but even he was limited by Fnatic’s strong performance.

On day two, Fnatic will play three more matches, including a matchup against Evil Geniuses. Meanwhile, Evil Geniuses had a mixed performance on day one, splitting their series against OG Seed but crushing Thunder Predator in their second series.

At the end of the first day, Fnatic holds the top spot, followed closely by Evil Geniuses. Liquid and OG Seed have neutral records, while Thunder Predator and Cloud9 are at risk of elimination.

The action will resume on day two with Liquid facing off against Evil Geniuses in the first match.
