Fnatic Welcomes ChYuan to Dota 2 Lineup

Fnatic Completes Dota 2 Roster with Addition of Malaysian Player Ng “ChYuan” Kee Chyuan

Fnatic, the Southeast Asian titans, have finalized their roster for the upcoming Dota Pro Circuit campaign with the addition of Malaysian Dota 2 player Ng “ChYuan” Kee Chyuan.

ChYuan Joins Fnatic after Stint with Team Aster

After a period with Team Aster, 25-year-old ChYuan decided not to continue his career in China and was subsequently moved to Aster’s inactive roster in August 2020. He recently played for ZeroTwo in the first season of the SEA Regional League lower division, finishing in sixth place.

Position Change for ChYuan in Fnatic

Specializing as a mid laner throughout his career, ChYuan will be taking on the position three role for Fnatic. This move comes as the team decides to move off laner Natthaphon “Masaros” Ouanphakdee to the inactive roster following Fnatic’s disappointing performance at the ONE Esports Singapore Major, where they finished joint-ninth and lost both of their series despite a direct seed to the playoffs.

Reunion of Former Teammates in the Fnatic Roster

ChYuan will be reuniting with his compatriot and former teammate Kam “Moon” Boon Seng, who is Fnatic’s mid laner. The two previously played together in 2017 for WarriorsGaming.Unity. ChYuan also had a brief stint with Raven in Lotac before joining Team Aster in China.

Fnatic’s new roster will be competing in season two of the SEA Regional League upper division, which is scheduled to take place from April 14 to May 20. While Fnatic will not play in the first week of the tournament, they are expected to debut their new roster in week two starting on April 21.
