Evil Geniuses Take the Lead in Group B at Kuala Lumpur Major

Evil Geniuses emerged as the top team in Group B on the first day of the Kuala Lumpur Major, competing against some tough opponents.

In their opening game against Team Aster, Evil Geniuses had a rocky start and made some mistakes in the mid-game, allowing Aster to take an early lead. However, Evil Geniuses regrouped and won the second game in just 27 minutes, showcasing their expert area control and strategic decision-making.

The third game in the series between Evil Geniuses and Aster was a long and grueling battle. Despite Aster’s strong early game performance, their defense eventually crumbled, giving Evil Geniuses the victory and securing their place in the upper bracket.

In another match, Vici Gaming faced off against TNC Predator to determine who would advance to the winners match against Evil Geniuses. Both games were closely contested, lasting over 50 minutes each. Ultimately, Vici Gaming came out on top and moved on to face Evil Geniuses.

However, Vici Gaming couldn’t match Evil Geniuses’ mastery of area management and positioning. Evil Geniuses dominated both games against Vici Gaming, winning in around 33 minutes each.

Meanwhile, in the losers match, Aster had a tough fight against TNC. Aster’s hyper-offensive playstyle didn’t work well against TNC’s strategic approach, leading to their defeat in the first game. However, TNC couldn’t maintain their momentum in the next game, allowing Aster to secure the victory.

With TNC sent to the lower bracket, Aster faced Vici Gaming to determine the final team to join Evil Geniuses in the upper bracket. Aster won the first game decisively, but Vici Gaming managed to turn the tide in the second game, evening the series at 1-1.

In the final game, Aster once again took an early lead, but Vici Gaming’s focus on the late game paid off. Vici Gaming secured their victory and secured their place in the upper bracket for the next stage of the event.

Overall, Evil Geniuses displayed their dominance in Group B, while Vici Gaming fought hard to secure their spot in the upper bracket. It will be exciting to see how these teams perform in the next stages of the Kuala Lumpur Major.
