EternaLEnVy’s surprising upset of Quincy Crew secures victory at Summit 13 Online: Americas

Quincy Crew Upset by 4Fun in Summit 13 Online: Americas Grand Finals

During Evil Geniuses’ absence, Quincy Crew has been dominating the Americas region in Dota 2. However, they were recently upset by the newly formed team 4Fun in the grand finals of the Summit 13 Online: Americas. The series ended 3-2 in favor of 4Fun, led by EternaLEnVy.

4Fun made a statement with a quick game one stomp, taking the favorites by surprise right from the start. The second game was a back-and-forth affair, with Ryoya’s impressive play on Divine Rapier Void Spirit. Despite their efforts, 4Fun couldn’t seal the victory, allowing Quincy Crew to make a comeback and secure a decisive Roshan fight with EternaLEnVy’s Spectre.

Game three was a heart-pumping match for both teams. 4Fun held a tiny lead in the first half, but Quincy Crew’s strong teamfight lineup helped them turn the tide. However, 4Fun’s defense was impressive, with Ryoya defending the base against a full health Quincy Crew using only good Flicker usage and a respawned Oracle.

Quincy Crew managed to make a comeback in the fourth game, tying the series at two apiece. In the final game, 4Fun’s Ryoya showed another outstanding performance with his unique item progression, securing the championship for his team. EternaLEnVy’s risky plays also added to the excitement of the series.

4Fun claimed the championship and earned $42,000, while Quincy Crew will receive $22,000 as the runners-up.
