EternalEnvy Seeks New Team after 4FUN’s Disappointing Performance at Realms Collide: The Burning Darkness

North America’s Dota 2 Scene: EternaLEnVy’s Constant Movement

EternaLEnVy’s Journey

EternaLEnVy, also known as Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao, is a well-known figure in the Dota 2 scene. He is known for his frequent team changes and has become one of the few constants in North America’s Dota 2 scene.

From Cloud9 to 4FUN

Earlier this year, EternaLEnVy had a short stint with Cloud9’s Dota team, which didn’t end well. After that, he joined a few different rosters before finally settling in with the business associates stack. Initially a stand-in for Clinton “Fear” Loomis, EternaLEnVy eventually took on the leadership role for the squad.

Team Zero to 4FUN

After Fear left, the squad spun off into a new team called Team Zero. They enjoyed success, winning the Dota Summit 13 Online tournament and ending Quincy Crew’s winning streak in North American events. However, they rebranded once again, this time as 4FUN.

Challenges and Future Opportunities

While competing in the Realms Collide: The Burning Darkness qualifiers, 4FUN faced challenges. They only qualified because another team disbanded. Unfortunately, they were eliminated in seventh place by beastcoast in the playoffs.

Shortly after their elimination, EternaLEnVy expressed that he is actively looking for a new team to compete with in upcoming events. Jingjun “Sneyking” Wu and David “Moo” Hull also announced that they will be forming a new stack with Fear and Peter “ppd” Dager. This suggests that the former 4FUN roster may be disbanded.

EternaLEnVy’s Return

Despite the challenges faced by North American teams during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, EternaLEnVy is expected to form a new stack before the start of the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit on January 28. Fans eagerly await his next move in the Dota 2 scene.
