ESL One Mumbai: Nine Teams Secure Their Spot

ESL One Mumbai Teams Set After Last Regional Qualifiers

The teams for ESL One Mumbai have been finalized after the conclusion of the last regional qualifiers on March 3. The first four teams to secure their spots through direct invites were Ninjas in Pyjamas, Alliance, Gambit Esports, and compLexity Gaming who have all been performing well in the top Dota 2 events this season.

Regional Qualifiers Determine Remaining Teams

With the direct invite slots filled, the remaining teams were decided through regional qualifiers. Notably, the CIS region was combined with Europe, while South America was replaced with a local India qualifier.

Keen Gaming, after battling Royal Never Give Up in the China Qualifier, secured their spot. TNC Predator from Southeast Asia overcame recent issues to qualify. J Storm emerged as the winners of the North American Qualifier, defeating Team Team and Flying Penguins, led by Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao. The Pango secured the last major region spot, benefiting from the absence of top European teams participating in other events.

Signify Dominates Indian Dota Scene

The local India qualifier saw long-standing team Signify dominate the competition, earning their place in the tournament. Having maintained the same roster since 2017, Signify showcased their chemistry and skill.

With the addition of Signify, only three spots remain, which will be determined through direct invites. These spots are expected to be announced after the conclusion of the March events. The ESL One Mumbai event is scheduled to take place from April 16 to 21.
