Erica from Vici Gaming excels in intense OGA Dota PIT championship victory against PSG.LGD

PSG.LGD vs Vici Gaming: OGA Dota PIT Season 3 Grand Final

In an action-packed grand final, PSG.LGD and Vici Gaming battled it out in season three of the OGA Dota PIT tournament. Vici Gaming emerged victorious with a 3-2 score, avenging their previous losses against PSG.LGD.

This was the fourth encounter between these two teams since roster changes. While PSG.LGD had won all three previous matches, Vici Gaming triumphed in this crucial grand final.

Vici Gaming’s latest addition, carry player Yang “Erica” Shaohan, delivered a standout performance throughout the series. Playing as Faceless Void and Phantom Assassin, he played a vital role in all three of his team’s victories. His exceptional performance on Phantom Assassin in the final two games, without dying even once, helped Vici Gaming overturn a 2-1 series deficit. With the upcoming arrival of Southeast Asian prodigy 23savage, Vici Gaming now faces the pleasant challenge of choosing between two talented carry players for the upcoming season.

The first game showcased an intense battle between the Chinese powerhouses. Erica led the way with an impressive performance on Faceless Void. Supported by a strong teamfight lineup comprising Phoenix, Earthshaker, and Snapfire, Vici Gaming secured several skirmishes and took down the first two lanes of barracks.

However, PSG.LGD’s Ame on Anti-Mage refused to back down and became a constant thorn in Vici Gaming’s side with his split-pushing tactic. Ame’s strategy paid off when Vici Gaming made an overly aggressive move into enemy territory and faced swift punishment.

In the ensuing base defense, Erica died back, allowing PSG.LGD to take down all of Vici Gaming’s structures. Despite facing mega creeps, Vici Gaming valiantly defended, but PSG.LGD pulled off an impressive comeback with the help of Io’s Relocates and clever misdirection techniques that ultimately led to the fall of Vici Gaming’s unprotected throne.

Vici Gaming quickly bounced back in game two, dominating the map with outstanding performances from Ori on Queen of Pain and Xiong “Pyw” Jiahan on Earth Spirit. PSG.LGD’s Ame struggled to keep up with his Terrorblade, resulting in a 30-minute loss.

The next two games saw both teams’ carry players making significant contributions to their respective victories. In game three, Ame on Drow Ranger farmed exceptionally well under immense pressure, supported by Void Spirit and Slardar’s strong frontline presence. In the fourth game, Erica’s free-farming Phantom Assassin rapidly snowballed into an unstoppable killing machine, shredding PSG.LGD’s heroes.

With everything on the line in game five, LGD started with a small lead. Troll Warlord and Pugna dealt structural damage for LGD, while Vici Gaming relied on Leshrac. However, all eyes were on Erica, who quietly farmed away. Once he joined the team fights, LGD couldn’t withstand the overwhelming damage of Phantom Assassin, leading to their defeat. Vici Gaming was crowned the champions of OGA Dota PIT season three.
