Epileptick1d and illias Alter In-Game Names Ahead of 2021 Dota Pro Circuit

Virtus Pro Roster to Rebrand Ahead of 2021 DPC

The former VP.Prodigy roster is ready to make a global impact in the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit as they join Virtus Pro. In preparation for this journey, two players from the team have decided to rebrand themselves.

Egor Grigorenko, previously known as epileptick1d, has retired his former handle and will now be known as Nightfall.

Fresh Beginnings for the Team

Egor’s decision to change his name was not based on any issues with his previous handle. Rather, he wanted to start the new year with a new identity. He decided against using his other alternate IDs like justletmedie or egofan, opting instead for the name Nightfall as he continues his journey in the 2021 DPC.

Egor’s teammate, Illias Ganeev, has also made a change. He will now be known as Kingslayer, but no explanation was given for this decision.

Teammates Share Jokes

While these name changes won’t impact the team’s performance, they have sparked some jokes at the players’ expense. An Alliance player and CIS veteran even suggested that he should take on the epileptick1d tag now that it’s available.

Competing in the CIS Regional League

Virtus Pro will be among the eight teams participating in the upper division of the CIS regional league, which kicks off on January 18. They received a direct invite to the event, along with three other teams.
