EHOME criticizes Elephant as “unprofessional” for neglecting to compensate Sylar’s transfer fee.

EHOME Accuses Elephant of Unprofessional Conduct in Player Transfer

In the wake of the resolution of the Eurus transfer saga between Vici Gaming and Elephant, EHOME has come forward with their own grievances against the Chinese club. According to an official press release from EHOME, they have called out Elephant for their subpar conduct in the transfer and demanded proper compensation.

EHOME described the situation as a “farce” and expressed their disappointment with Elephant’s lack of contractual obligation and professionalism. They have attempted to communicate and pressure Elephant to honor the agreement and pay the required compensation, but to no avail. EHOME stated that they reserve the right to pursue legal action if Elephant fails to comply.

Background on the Transfer

The transfer involved veteran carry Liu “Sylar” Jiajun, who was initially announced as part of Elephant’s roster but was removed less than a day later. It was reported that Sylar was a last-minute suggestion from Somnus and was quickly replaced by Eurus after a hasty meeting with Elephant’s management.

Complications arose when Eurus’ former club, Vici Gaming, temporarily forbade him from participating in competitions due to Elephant’s failure to pay his transfer fee, estimated to be around $220,000. Now, EHOME has decided to make their troubles with Elephant public, highlighting the unfair scrutiny faced by Sylar as a result of his short-lived stint with the club.

Resolution and Repercussions

After Vici Gaming publicly accused Elephant of their misconduct, the matter was quickly resolved. Elephant’s new roster will no longer be affiliated with the esports organization Four Angry Men and will operate independently as Elephant.

Elephant has yet to respond to these allegations, but the team’s reputation has been tarnished by their conduct. Other Chinese clubs such as PSG.LGD, VG, and Royal Never Give Up have shown their support for EHOME in this matter.
