In the old Diretide, players had to collect and deposit candy into their own team’s wells, which reduced their hero’s health. This added a risk-reward element to the game. Now, the new Diretide event requires players to deposit candies into the opposing team’s Taffy Wells. This lures Roshan to destroy the wells, and the team that loses all four wells first loses the game.
By playing the Diretide event and normal Dota matches, you can earn Candy Bags, which are a special form of currency for this event. These can be exchanged for rewards such as rare item sets, wards, couriers, and even Arcana.
How to earn Candy easily in the Diretide 2022 event
To earn Candy Bags, you need to play Diretide games and normal matches. The more you play, the more Candy Bags you will receive. However, there is a weekly cap of five Candy Bags, and you won’t be able to earn more than that. If you have enough Candy but no desirable rewards, you can use re-rolls from the Emporium. Each player is allowed 10 re-rolls per day, and you can earn them by playing matches.
