DuBu gathers a fresh NA team for the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit

New Undying Lineup Led by DuBu Returns to Competitive Dota

One of the most exciting teams to watch in the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit is the new Undying lineup, featuring Kim “DuBu” Doo-young’s comeback to the competitive scene. DuBu previously played for Geek Fam at the beginning of 2020 and then took on a coaching role with CR4ZY after being released. However, with the organization’s closure in October, the players and coaching staff found themselves teamless.

DuBu’s return as a player is not the only exciting news. He is also reuniting with two of his former players, Jonathan “Bryle” De Guia and David “MoonMeander” Tan. Although both players have had some time playing for smaller stacks, they have mostly been inactive since September.

Joining them in their quest to secure a spot in the NA DPC regional league are Jonáš “SabeRLight-” Volek and Enzo “Timado” Gianoli O’Connor. While SabeRLight- has experience playing in North America despite mostly being in Europe, Timado has spent time in South America.

With only three established rosters currently competing in the NA DPC leagues, the NA region is considered wide open. Evil Geniuses is the only major organization sponsoring a team in the region, leaving ample opportunity for rising teams to secure contracts with organizations eager to be part of the 2021 DPC action.

The qualifiers for the NA DPC regional league begin on Jan. 5, offering a window of opportunity for more NA stacks to form and challenge Undying.
