Dota 2 Champions League Season 7 to be hosted by Epic Esports, starting Jan. 24

Epic Esports Events Hosts Winline Dota 2 Champions League Season Seven

Epic Esports Events seized the opportunity created by the cancellation of Valve’s 2022 Dota Pro Circuit Winter Tour Major and will now organize the Winline Dota 2 Champions League Season Seven.

From Jan. 24 to Feb. 17, 14 teams from Eastern and Western Europe will compete for a share of the $50,000 prize pool. Although most teams are from the CIS region.

During the group stage, teams will compete against each other to collect points. The teams with the most points will advance to the playoff stage, where matches will follow a best-of-three format in a double-elimination bracket.

Epic Esports has already announced 13 out of the 14 participating teams. The lineup includes top teams like Virtus.pro, AS Monaco Gambit, and standout stacks from the DPC’s Winter Tour. The last spot will be determined through an open qualifier held later this week.
