DeMoN leads a fresh Dota 2 squad with BuLba and Mason as prominent members

North American Dota 2 Player Returns Home with New Team

After spending six months in South East Asia, a prominent competitor from North America has returned to his home region with a fresh roster.

Jimmy “DeMoN” Ho, who led TNC Gaming to a 7-8th place finish at the International 6, will now be part of a new mix team called Team Onyx. The team also includes former Team Liquid off laner Kanishka “BuLba” Sosale, previous Evil Geniuses carry Mason “mason” Venne, and Korean support player Kim “DuBu” Doo-young, who was most recently seen competing with MVP Phoenix.

While Team Onyx has not yet announced the final player on its roster, the team is preparing to compete in the North American qualifiers for the Kiev Major. They have already officially registered for the event.

In the case that the players do not qualify, it remains uncertain whether Team Onyx will continue to compete together. However, some of the players have been seen playing on mix teams for short periods of time in the past year.

Regardless of the outcome, with the presence of several experienced players on the roster, Team Onyx is expected to perform at a high level.
