CIS Dota 2 Rebuild Begins: Virtus.Pro Drops Yamich and Xakoda from Roster

Virtus.Pro Support Duo to Depart from Dota 2 Team

Virtus.Pro had a rollercoaster season in the DPC, accumulating DPC points but facing penalties that prevented them from qualifying directly for The International 2022.

The team’s support duo, yamich and Xakoda, who played a vital role in their journey, will not be returning to Virtus.Pro for the upcoming season.

Virtus.Pro missed out on a guaranteed spot at TI11 and failed to qualify through the regional qualifiers, forcing them to go through the Last Chance Qualifiers. Despite struggling in the LCQ group stage, the team performed well in the main event, making it to the top three.

Unfortunately, Virtus.Pro was defeated by Team Secret and Liquid, and these two teams secured spots at the event, leaving Virtus.Pro behind. This resulted in rumors of a complete rebuild of Virtus.Pro, which have proven to be true.

Currently, only Danil “gpk” Skutin and Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin remain on the Virtus.Pro Dota 2 team, and the organization has eight days left to complete their roster.
