China Remains Dominant: Early TI11 Favorites According to Dota 2 Fans, EG falls short of top spot

PSG.LGD Remains the Favorite to Win The International 2022

Despite finishing third in Group A, PSG.LGD is still the favored team to win The International 2022. Evil Geniuses and Team Liquid had impressive runs in the group stage which led to PSG.LGD’s lower placement, but that hasn’t swayed fans’ expectations.

A community poll shows that 27.66 percent of Dota 2 fans believe PSG.LGD will take home the Aegis, slightly surpassing the 25.59 percent who think Evil Geniuses can win it for the second time.

EG and Tundra Esports have been performing exceptionally well in the competition, both with 14 wins and four losses in the group stage. However, doubts still surround them, especially after facing the Kyle Curse.

Although PSG.LGD may not have looked as impressive, they have had a solid performance with 12 wins and six losses. Now, as the playoffs approach, Dota 2 fans have faith that PSG.LGD will find their stride.

As usual, PSG.LGD is considered the strongest contender from China. Chinese fans are placing a lot of hope in PSG.LGD due to concerns over other teams’ performances and representation.

Team Aster performed well but finished fourth in Group B. Unfortunately, health issues have affected Royal Never Give Up, causing them to forfeit games and slide down to sixth place in Group A, placing them in the lower bracket.

However, it would be unwise to underestimate teams like EG, Team Secret, Team Liquid, OG, or even defending champions Team Spirit, who find themselves in the lower bracket once again.

The TI11 playoffs promise to be an exciting event. As we’ve seen in previous years, anything can happen in Dota 2, despite fans having their favorites.
