Chicken Fighters signs with High Coast Esports, making their foray into Dota 2

High Coast Esports Acquires Chicken Fighters Roster for Dota Pro Circuit

Swedish organization High Coast Esports has announced the acquisition of the Chicken Fighters roster ahead of their debut in the Europe Regional League of the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit.

After Ninjas in Pyjamas released its Dota 2 roster due to concerns over financial stability, three of the players formed the Chicken Fighters team. They then recruited two former players from OG Seed to create a majority-Swedish lineup.

The Chicken Fighters roster includes Charlie Arat, Ondřej “Supream^” Štarha, Rasmus “Chessie” Blomdin, Adrian “Era” Kryeziu, and Andreas “Xibbe” Ragnemalm. Chessie and Xibbe have adjusted their roles to offlaner and hard support, respectively, to fit the team’s composition. They will be competing against top teams in one of the most competitive regions in Dota 2.

The team qualified as the final team for the upper division of the Europe Regional League, giving them an opportunity to compete in the upcoming Major and earn valuable DPC points for a chance to participate in The International.

Established in December 2019, High Coast Esports initially entered esports by acquiring a Sweden-based team in January 2020. Since then, the organization has signed teams for Rainbow 6 Siege and Rocket League. The Chicken Fighters roster marks the organization’s first venture into the MOBA and Dota 2.

High Coast Esports will face a challenging series against OG in their DPC debut in just two days.
