Chaos Esports Club hints at upcoming signings following Hfn departure

Chaos Esports Club Parts Ways with Final Brazilian Player and Teases New Signings

Chaos Esports Club, who recently withdrew from the South American region, has now bid farewell to their last Brazilian player, William “hFn” Medeiros. The organization has also hinted at some upcoming signings.

hFn’s Legacy and Chaos’ Struggles

hFn, who is well-known for his time with paiN Gaming, has been a part of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) for several years. He played a crucial role in Chaos’ top 10 ranking during the early 2018-19 season. However, as the season progressed, Chaos found it challenging to keep up with the rising competition from teams like Ninjas in Pyjamas and Vici Gaming.

Transitions and Departures

During their final months in the South American region, Chaos faced frequent defeats against Infamous and paiN’s revamped roster. After being eliminated in the first round of the MDL Disneyland Paris Major, Chaos made the decision to shift their focus to the European region. Alongside the move, they also released two of their Brazilian players, Danylo “Kingrd” Nascimento and Otávio “Tavo” Gabriel. Initially, they had planned to retain hFn, but circumstances led to his departure, leaving Chaos without any South American players on their roster.

A Glance at Future Rosters and Uncertainty

The team captain, Rasmus “MISERY” Filipsen, who is now the longest-serving member of Chaos, formed a temporary roster with hFn, Nico “Gunnar” Lopez, Maurice “KheZu” Gutmann, and Milan “MiLAN” Kozomara to compete in the EPICENTER Major qualifiers. Unfortunately, they were unable to secure a victory. It remains uncertain if Gunnar or any of the other players will be part of Chaos’ new roster, teased on their Twitter account.

Possibilities for Chaos Esports Club

The tweet doesn’t explicitly mention if the signings pertain to their Dota team. These signings may be for other games like Apex Legends or Rocket League. However, it is crucial for Chaos’ Dota squad to get sufficient practice with their new players before the qualifiers for The International 2019 (TI9).

Chaos is currently preparing for the TI9 qualifiers as they were unable to secure one of the 12 DPC spots in the tournament.
