Ceb is shaking up the Dota 2 ranked meta with mastery of his OG signature hero

OG Legends Topson, n0tail, and Ceb Making Waves Even After Season Setback

Despite their disappointing start to the season, the players of Old G, featuring OG legends Topson, n0tail, and Ceb, are still making a splash in the esports scene. Gaimin Gladiators mid laner Quinn even named Topson as the best player in the scene three times over. Meanwhile, Ceb has been wreaking havoc in ranked matches with his signature hero, Io.

Ceb’s Unstoppable Winning Streak with Io

Ceb has been on fire with Io in his recent matches. In the past eight days alone, he has played 16 matches with Io and has emerged victorious in every single one of them. This makes Io his most successful hero at the moment, surpassing even Windranger. Ceb primarily plays Io as a support and strategically purchases items like Magic Wand, Bracker, Holy Locket, Mekansm, Medallion of Courage, Solar Crest, Drum of Endurance, and occasionally Guardian Greaves and Glimmer Cape.

Ceb Taps into his Inner Ana

In one particular Dota 2 battle, Ceb decided to channel his inner Ana and played Io as more of a core. He incorporated items like Heart of Tarrasque and Desolator into his build, making the hero tankier while also hitting like a freight train.

Ceb’s Professional Future Uncertain

After Old G’s failure to qualify for the 2023 Dota Pro Circuit, Ceb has not played professionally. It remains to be seen if they will make another attempt in the Spring Tour or move on from competitive play.

Despite this setback, Ceb’s performance in pubs shows that his skills are still top-notch. The Dota legend’s spark is as strong as ever, indicating that he may not be done with the esports scene just yet, despite his multiple retirements.
