‘Ceb defends Old G’s latest signing, urging Dota 2 fans to trust their judgement’

Old G on the Verge of Qualifying for DPC WEU 2023 Tour Two

The journey to the DPC WEU 2023 Tour Two has not been easy for Old G, but they are now just one step away from making it into the tournament. After a disappointing performance in the first tour, the team failed to qualify initially. However, they have since made some changes, with N0tail and MSS stepping down and being replaced by Resolut1on and Kitrak.

Positive Results and a Shot at Qualification

Old G’s recent performances in the upper bracket have been impressive. If they manage to beat Betrayed tonight, they will secure their spot in the DPC WEU 2023 Tour Two: Division Two. Even if they lose, they will have another chance against the winner of KZ Team and PuckChamp.

Despite doubts surrounding Kitrak’s abilities, Ceb, a legendary member of OG, has expressed confidence in the team. He wants fans to stop questioning his ability to build successful teams, citing instances in the past where OG was criticized before ultimately achieving victory.

Remaining Optimistic Despite Criticism

When OG added Ana and Topson to their roster, they faced criticism. However, they went on to win back-to-back TI victories in 2018 and 2019. Similarly, when the old guard stepped down in 2021 and passed the torch to a new roster, they faced criticism but went on to win ESL One Stockholm 2022 and ESL One Malaysia 2022.

In response to the criticism Kitrak is currently facing, Ceb urged Dota fans to trust the team and have faith in their abilities. He questioned how long it would take for people to learn from past experiences and support OG without hesitation.

A Tough Road Ahead

Completing their run in the close qualifiers to secure a spot in The International 2023 is still a challenging task for Old G. They will have to fight through Division Two and potentially Division One before having a chance to qualify. However, Ceb has defied the odds before and believes that with the exceptional talent and experience on the team, they have what it takes to succeed again.

Regardless of the outcome, it will be exciting to see Old G back in action in the esports circuit.
