Bleed Esports Welcomes Taiga to Dota 2 Team, Igniting Exciting Double Comeback Season

Bleed Esports Signs Former OG Star Taiga and Masaros for Dota 2 Roster

With the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 closed qualifiers set to begin on Nov. 16, teams around the world are finalizing their Dota 2 rosters. Bleed Esports, recognizing the growing competition in Southeast Asia, has made a big move by signing former-OG star Taiga and Masaros.

Bleed initially entered the Dota 2 scene at the end of 2022 with a promising roster featuring iceiceice and DuBu. However, despite high expectations, the team failed to live up to its potential and ultimately didn’t qualify for The International this year.

For the upcoming 2024 Dota season, Bleed has decided to retain its core trio of JaCkky, Kordan, and DJ while adding some talented players to strengthen the team. Masaros and Taiga will fill the spots left vacant by iceiceice and DuBu, aiming to redeem Bleed’s performance from the 2023 season.

For Taiga, this roster move signifies a fresh start after battling with addiction that hindered his performance. Following his time with OG in 2023, Taiga was moved to the inactive roster and later played in the NA qualifiers for TI 2023 with Wildcard Gaming. With careful consideration, Taiga made the decision to join Bleed, a team looking to make a comeback.

In their first two 2023 DPC tours, Bleed Esports narrowly avoided relegation. Though they started the season on a rough note, the team managed to win their third DPC tour. Unfortunately, they couldn’t carry that momentum into the TI 2023 qualifiers.

Now, with their revamped lineup, Bleed will be competing in the Southeast Asia Closed Qualifier (CQ) for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, which begins on Nov. 16.
