B8 finalizes 2021 Dota Pro Circuit roster with former Midas Club players’ signatures

B8 Makes Major Roster Move with Three New Players and Two Coaches

B8, the Dota 2 team, has made a significant move by bringing in three new players and two coaches. This decision comes after a series of disappointing losses and numerous changes in the team’s roster.

The three new players are not from various CIS squads, but rather from South America. They will now compete alongside Dendi in the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit.

New Players from Brazil

The new players, Heitor “Duster” Pereira, Diego “Sexyfat” Santamaria, and Leonardo “RdO” Fernandes, are all professional Dota 2 players from Brazil. They previously played under the Midas Club tag before being signed by Havan Liberty. However, their partnership ended in October, and they struggled to form a working roster after returning to Midas Club.

Despite their South American roots, the team competed in the CIS region for several months. However, due to ongoing roster issues, discussions with B8 management began when both sides hit a wall.

New Roster Announcement

B8 has now announced its new roster:

  1. RdO
  2. Dendi
  3. SexyFat
  4. 5up
  5. Duster

As a result of this signing, Oleg “LastHero” Demidovich has been released from the roster, leaving Dendi and Enis “5up” Elfki as the only remaining players from the previous B8 squad.

In addition to the new players, B8 has also added two coaches to its team. Filipe Astini, the former CEO and coach of Midas Club, will be joining as a coach. Furthermore, Daniil “MeTTpuM” Gilev, the former coach of Team Singularity, will also be joining as a coach.

A Fresh Start

This major roster move signals a fresh start for B8. While the team had a challenging year in 2020, this shakeup could be just what Dendi and the team needed to turn things around.
