Virtus Pro Secures Victory in Autumn Brawl
The champions of Autumn Brawl, Virtus Pro, faced a tough challenge despite their dominant performance. NoPangolier, a newly formed team, provided stiff competition in both the first and second games of the tournament. However, fatigue set in during the third game, allowing Virtus Pro to secure a decisive victory.
NoPangolier surprised everyone by making it to the finals as a non-seeded team. Bakyt “Zayac” Emilzhanov played exceptionally well and propelled his team forward.
Virtus Pro, a team renowned in the competitive Dota 2 scene, staged a comeback in game one after an intense 70-minute battle. Game two, lasting around 50 minutes, remained uncertain until Virtus Pro made a late push to claim victory.
Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev and Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko played crucial roles in the series, particularly in the second game, leading Virtus Pro to a commanding 2-0 lead.
In game three, the mental and physical strain became too much for NoPangolier, while Virtus Pro capitalized on their momentum to secure a 20-minute win and claim a 3-0 victory in the finals.
Virtus Pro received an invitation to the playoffs and bypassed the first round. They defeated Team Spirit 2-0 in the second round and Ninjas in Pyjamas 2-1 in the semifinals.
NoPangolier also had an impressive journey to the finals. They secured victories against ESPADA 2-0, the revamped Gambit Esports roster 2-0, and Natus Vincere’s revamped team 2-1.
Virtus Pro’s next tournament is ESL One Hamburg, taking place from October 23 to 28.
