Asian Games 2023: Dota 2 – Schedule, Scores, and Results

The 19th Asian Games was a major tournament in the Asian region, featuring over 40 nations competing in various events. The 2018 edition had esports as an exhibition event, but in 2022-2023, gaming became the main focus.

Only countries from the Asia-Pacific region were eligible to compete, and players had to represent their country rather than their teams. The Asian Games is one of the biggest competitions in the region and is often compared to the Olympics.

The 2022 Asian Games were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic but were completed in Hangzhou, China in October 2023. A total of 14 Dota 2 teams participated in the tournament, with the winning team earning a gold medal for their country.

The tournament featured some of the best Dota players from each country. Fans were excited to see who would take home the gold medal.

How to Watch Asian Games 2023 Dota 2

Unfortunately, there was no live stream available for the group stage or first round of the playoffs. Streams for the semi-finals were available on Twitch (CyberGamesArena) and YouTube (CGA) but required VPNs to access.

Community caster Bkop provided English broadcasts of the games where possible.

Fans expressed frustration on social media regarding the limited availability of streams. They were eager to watch their favorite players, especially Team China, compete in such a prestigious event. It remains to be seen if streams will be widely available for the grand finals.
