Arteezy Hits 11,000 MMR Milestone in Dota 2
Arteezy, the carry player for Evil Geniuses, has reached the impressive milestone of 11,000 MMR in Dota 2. Known as North America’s premier MMR grinder, Arteezy achieved this feat today.
The Canadian star accomplished this milestone by playing his signature carry heroes such as Anti-Mage, Faceless Void, and Terrorblade. He even picked up a Void Spirit for the mid lane when needed. Arteezy secured his 11,000 MMR with an exceptional farming performance on Terrorblade, benefiting from the space created by his dominant cores. You can watch his impressive gameplay here.
In a tweet, Arteezy playfully mentioned that he beat Quinn Callahan, the midlaner for Quincy Crew, another prominent MMR grinder in the region. Arteezy currently holds the second spot on the NA leaderboards, one position ahead of Quinn. The top spot is allegedly held by a suspected exploiter.
Arteezy is now the third member of EG to reach the 11,000 MMR milestone. Abed, the midlaner, achieved this feat five months ago, and support Cr1t- joined the club just five days ago.
While Arteezy and EG have been relatively quiet on the competitive front, with their last appearance being in the European OMEGA League where they finished in the top six, they are gearing up for the second season of the league next month. The team hopes that their trio of 11,000 MMR geniuses can lead them to a major championship victory.
