Ana rejoins OG’s Dota 2 active roster

OG Welcomes Back Ana to Active Roster for Dota 2

The two-time The International winning carry, Ana, is making a comeback to OG’s active playing roster. Following MidOne’s departure in late March this year, OG announced Ana’s return, marking his fourth separate stint with the European organization. Ana had previously left OG in August 2017 and moved to the bench after both TI8 and TI9.

Ana’s Return to OG

This exciting news was shared by OG on their official Twitter account. Ana’s return has been highly anticipated by fans and is expected to have a significant impact on the team’s performance. OG expressed their joy and support for Ana, stating that he is welcomed back as part of the OG family.

Ana’s Time with OG

Ana has technically not left the OG organization since rejoining in June 2018 for the TI8 Europe open qualifiers. This marked one of pro Dota 2’s most memorable Cinderella stories. However, he had been inactive and did not participate in any professional Dota 2 matches since winning TI9, except for a brief stint as a stand-in for TNC Predator in a charity event.

OG’s Hopes for TI10

OG is hopeful that Ana’s addition to the team will boost their chances of receiving an invite to TI10. As two-time TI champions, OG currently sits at 27th in the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 rankings. They won only 50 DPC points in the first season of the Regional League and received a penalty for removing MidOne from the roster.

The Road to TI10

With the Europe Regional League having four qualifying berths for the second and last DPC Major of the season, OG has a good chance of making a comeback. Ana’s return might just be the boost they need to secure a place in the tournament and compete for an unprecedented third Aegis of Champions.
