New Southeast Asian Roster for Alpha x Hashtag

Alpha x Hashtag has announced their new Southeast Asian roster, featuring Galvin “Meracle” Kang and Chan “WinteR” Litt Binn as the star players.

Southeast Asian teams had a disappointing performance at The International, resulting in roster changes. Alpha x Hashtag wasted no time in recruiting talent from the SEA region.

After being released by Complexity, Meracle quickly found a new home with Alpha x Hashtag. This partnership brings together two esports organizations based in Thailand. Joining Meracle is veteran player WinteR, who has also made a name for himself as a talent and analyst.

Four of the players in the roster previously played together under Power of MYSG+AU for the EPICENTER qualifiers. They put up a strong fight against Fnatic in a five-game series, but ultimately fell short.

Meracle will also be reunited with his long-time teammate Wilson “Poloson” Koh. They started their careers together on the Singaporean team First Departure and most recently played for Resurgence.

Alpha x Hashtag is a collaboration between two Thai teams, neither of which has found success on the international stage. Although the Thai scene has been isolated in recent years, MiTH.Trust represented the country in the first-ever International in 2011 and achieved a seventh-place finish.
